Khoi asked me to illustrate one of the articles on his project, A Brief Message. A Brief Message is a repository of articles written about design and current design-related issues, each under 200 words in length. The article I illustrated was penned by Clay Shirky, who addressed the power-struggle that often occurs between designers and consumers.
The final illustration visualizes arrogance and humility as piles of stuff that can be sprinkled on design work in variable amounts.
