Goodbye, Hello, Louise

This is what Hello, Louise looked like.
Doesn’t Hello, Louise look a little different?
The new site is engineered to accommodate more graphic content. Posts that contain only a single image now span the width of the site when they are at the top. I’ve also ported the site to a new server. It’s now powered by Expression Engine and hosted on MediaTemple. You’ll see that posts are sorted by tags instead of categories.
If you’re wondering about all the writing on the old site, don’t fret. I will make a PDF of that outdated, embarrassing stuff available on here in the near future.

What?! That stuff was great. You should just import it into older posts into the new site!
PS How are you doing the tags in EE?
Really? I could, but I’d edit more than half the stuff down anyway.
Tags are handled by Solspace’s Tag module. It’s $29.95 and really easy to use.
I like the look of the old site.
How do you like Expression Engine? What made you choose it over other cms products?
Every bit of content in Expression Engine is modular, which gives you more control over how things are hooked up and presented. I was already using it a lot in The Shirt Project so I figured I’d make the switch on my personal site.
